Dear Reader
I have to apologize for being so very absent in the past few months.
I've been busy preparing my talk on Art and the Enneagram for the International Enneagram Association's Annual Conference which starts today.
It's been a huge (and painful), learning curve, from writing, creating the video, and finding out how to edit.
(Obstacle number one, was the neighbors turning their home into a very noisy 24/7 construction site, which didn't bode well for the recording...)
But then there was the juicy side—researching and exploring art and the Enneagram.
I've been an artist for many years, so creating the talk and the book Paint by Numbers - Art and the Enneagram, took me on a fascinating journey which combined my two great passions. I wanted to see how we can use art as a tool for personal growth, as well as becoming better artists along the way.
What I found was enlightening. Here I have to add that I believe we are all creative whether we engage with our creativity or not.
My intent, is that the book and talk will inspire you further along your artistic road, or encourage you to start. How our Enneagram Type effects our creativity, and how we can use art to make breakthroughs, (in life and art) was a path of real discovery.
I hope to bring you some exciting Enneagram insights in the months ahead.
Yours in the Enneagram,
Ann Gadd

HiReader I confess, this is a bit last-minute.com, but if you happen to be sitting around wondering what to do (which if you are a parent particularly is about as likely as winning the jackpot twice), I'm doing a free interview on www.transformationtalkradio.com at 10:00am EST/5:00pm JHB on Tuesday, April 5, 2022. That's today in about an hour or less. I'll be chatting about my latest book, Better Parenting with the Enneagram on the tricky task of parenting with Susan Dolci. We'll be...
Hi Reader, Type "Diet Books," into Google and you'll get a staggering 711 million results. That's a massive amount. Clearly, dieting is big business. In an age when there are more diet products available than ever before, more of us are overweight. Something isn't right. To date the idea has been that we all gain weight for the same emotional reasons. I believe our Enneagram types strongly influence why we gain weight (and how we can lose it). Personally, after spending the first half of my...
Hi Reader You’ve discovered these incredible Enneagram insights into yourself and others. Wow! It’s amazing, and so accurate. But, like any path to self-realization, there is the potential to get stuck or bogged down along the way. Enneagram Growth: It can be hard to avoid not getting trapped in dead ends as we explore deeper into ourselves. Because the ego wants to protect us from anything we may find unacceptable or hard to work with. These dead ends, swamps even, are places that seem fun,...
